Hey there, *winks*
It's been quite a while, hasn't it? I can almost hear the rustling of pages and the scent of fresh ink as I type these words. It's September 2023, and after an unintentional hiatus since January 2022, I'm thrilled to be back in your inbox, ready to dive into the world of books once again.
You might be wondering what happened during my absence. Well, life happened, as it often does. There were new adventures, challenges, and a few curveballs thrown my way. But amidst it all, the love for books and the joy of sharing their wisdom never faded.
So why "Don't Overthink It, Just Do It"? Because sometimes, we tend to overanalyze, overplan, and overcomplicate things. We get caught up in the 'what ifs' and 'maybes' instead of simply taking that first step. I realized I was doing just that with my beloved newsletter.
But today, I'm hitting the reset button, and I invite you to join me. Let's rediscover the magic of books and the lessons therefrom together. This newsletter will continue to be a place where book lovers get to connect with books and the other category get to understand the messages and lessons in a book without reading them. Lessons from the pages become life lessons, and we become wiser every time.
Expect weekly reviews that are as easy to digest as your morning coffee, sprinkled with relatable anecdotes that will make you smile. We'll dive into the worlds created by authors, extracting valuable nuggets of wisdom and discussing how they apply to our everyday lives.
Here's what you can do right now:
Subscribe or resubscribe to ensure you never miss an edition.
Tell your friends, enemies, family, and fellow book lovers about this exciting comeback.
Keep an eye on your inbox because, starting this week, we're going weekly!
As I get back into the rhythm, I want to hear from you too. What books have you read recently? What lessons have you learned? Let's build a community of book lovers who share not just their recommendations but also the profound impact that books can have.
In the spirit of "Don't Overthink It, Just Do It," I'm recommitting to this journey. I hope you'll join me in this exciting literary adventure. Stay tuned for the first review coming your way this week.
I'm currently reading The Psychology of Money, it's filled with lots of lessons but here are my top two so far-
1. You don't need tremendous force to create tremendous results. Small and consistent actions always win (that's the power of compounding)
2. The most important part of a plan is planning on the plan not going according to plan.
Spectrum Clueeeeeeeee! Wow... welcome back! 😅
